Lyrical dance is an expressive dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, and modern dance. The style is a beautiful blend of ballet/jazz technique with the freedom of contemporary interlaced throughout.
You will start each class with a thorough warm up before working on the foundations of Lyrical dance through certain corner and centre exercises. Each week you will learn a short piece of emotive lyrical choreography that will enable you to enjoy embodying the lyrics of the song through your dance, along with enhancing your performance skills and technique.
